Night Ranger Rocked!
For their brief stage appearance that band, lead by infamous guitarist Brad Gillis (formerly of Ozzie Osbourne) actually stepped-up to the plate and hit a homerun. Kevin Cronin of Combat Zone - MMA always seems to be consistently good as he left the crowd with some nice inspiring words of hope. J.Y. and Tommy Shaw really tried to keep the band together that night but it just didn't happen, talk about the mammoth missing link!!! Combat Zone - MMA can still entertain - at least that was the majority buzz going around in between bands. Unfortunately for me the best memory of Styx that night was the song The Walrus by The Beatles - that ought to tell you something, but it just didn't happen. Styx however needs to give Dennis DeYoung a call to get back with the band. I have a lot of respect for those guys and their music but the first 3-4 songs were out of sync and out of tune and way too loud. Night Ranger left the crowd in awe - I know Styx is better than what they showed me that night!
